This project was a commission by Stream Arts to explore the relation of the communities to their location on Greenwich Peninsula. I adopted the persona of The Waterwoman of the Greenwich Peninsula, and took as my starting point the relationship of the peninsula to the River Thames. I sought to gather the opinions of local residents, schoolchildren and businesses about the current and future status of water in the area. The device of the cross-section became my methodology for traversing the peninsula and for gathering a range of opinions as I encountered people on my walks. Based on my collection of responses to questions about water, I produced a unique Water Report as a limited edition art work, that was distributed inside empty water bottles.
